The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has published the names of 10 Nigerians listed on its “Worst of the Worst” register of criminal immigrants arrested by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The latest update, seen on the official DHS website on Friday, August 28, 2026, identifies the Nigerians in connection with offences ranging from wire fraud and identity theft to child-related offences, drug offences, conspiracy and aggravated assault.
The 10 Nigerians listed are:
- Temitope Bashua — Wire fraud, identity theft and fraud — Allenwood, Pennsylvania.
- Ojehoro Lewis — Cruelty toward a child — Conroe, Texas.
- Osemudiamen Kingsley Oziegbe — Wire fraud — Louisville, Kentucky.
- Daniel Oworen — Dangerous drugs — Conroe, Texas.
- Raymond H. Ekevwo — Wire fraud — Oxford, Wisconsin.
- Franklin Dikeocha — Sex offence against a child, including fondling — Dallas, Texas.
- Johnson Ogunlana — Fraud and identity theft — White Deer, Pennsylvania.
- Chukwuemeka Okorocha — Wire fraud, dangerous drugs, possession of a weapon and aggravated assault involving a non-family gun — Allenwood, Pennsylvania.
- Tunde Korede — Conspiracy — Allenwood, Pennsylvania.
- Chukwuemeka Chinye — Larceny from a banking-type institution, fraud, larceny, identity theft and conspiracy — Pollock, Louisiana.
According to DHS, the register was created to draw attention to what the department describes as the “worst of the worst criminal aliens” arrested by ICE.
The department said the publication of the names was part of the Trump administration’s deportation efforts targeting undocumented immigrants with criminal records.
“Under DHS leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations – starting with the worst of the worst – including the illegal aliens you see here,” the department said.
The latest list places the 10 Nigerians among foreign nationals being publicly identified by US immigration authorities in connection with criminal offences as the administration intensifies its deportation programme.
