Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State governor has announced N85,000 as the new minimum wage for civil servants in the state.
This is in line with the federal government’s approval of N70,000 as minimum wage in Nigeria.
Governor Sanwo-Olu made this announcement during a television programme on Wednesday.
