A private school teacher, Mrs. Stella Nwadigbo of Christ-Mitots School, Ikorodu, Lagos state has been arrested by the police.
Mrs Nwadigbo was arrested on Wednesday after footage of her assaulting three-year-old Abayomi Michael went viral.
It is not clear what could have prompted the assault on the child, but from the video, the teacher was seen going through an assignment with the pupil before she gave him serious blows against his hear and head.
