The remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari will arrive in Nigeria by midday on Tuesday, July 15.
Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State disclosed this on Monday, adding that the late president’s body will be flown to his hometown of Daura for burial by 2 p.m. in accordance with Islamic rites.
Buhari, a retired army general and two-time Nigerian leader, died in a London hospital on Sunday after a prolonged illness.
Since the announcement of his death, tributes have poured in from across the country, including a condolence message personally signed by President Bola Tinubu.
