APC names Sanwo-Olu, five other zonal coordinators for Tinubu’s 2027 campaign

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed six zonal campaign coordinators to lead its mobilisation efforts for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid across the country’s six geopolitical zones.

The appointments were announced as part of the party’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was named coordinator for the South-West, while Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna will oversee the North-West.

Other appointees are Governor Umar Bago of Niger State for the North-Central, Senator Bassey Otu of Cross River for the South-South, Governor Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu for the South-East and Senator Modu Sheriff for the North-East.

The coordinators are expected to work with APC leaders at the national, zonal and state levels to mobilise support for Tinubu and strengthen the party’s structures across their respective zones.

They will also coordinate engagements with political stakeholders, labour groups, students, artisans, business communities and other interest groups as part of the party’s campaign strategy.

The appointments come as the APC intensifies preparations for the 2027 presidential election and seeks to consolidate its support across the six geopolitical zones.’
