Ekuma Jeremiah Iziogo, better known as Jerry Luck, has achieved a remarkable milestone—graduating as a lawyer, three years after a viral act of kindness changed his life.

Jeremiah first captured national attention in 2022 when a short video showed him giving money from his roadside earnings to inmates in a correctional vehicle during Lagos traffic. The gesture drew widespread admiration and caught the eye of businessman Obi Cubana, who offered him a law scholarship.

On Monday, September 22, 2025, Jeremiah shared his joy on Instagram, posting photos from his graduation and reflecting on his journey:

“Today, a journey that started with little or no hope of crossing the finish line has come to an amazing end… It was five years of diverse experiences,” he wrote, while thanking Cubana, Daddy Freeze, and many others who supported him along the way.

Obi Cubana, in his congratulatory message, praised Jeremiah’s decision to embrace education over instant comfort:

“On January 19, 2022, when the offers were placed before you, you chose education. You made the best choice… Today you are a 2025 law graduate! You now have both education and opportunity, and more ahead. Jerry MUST be successful!”

For many Nigerians, Jeremiah’s story has become a symbol of resilience, wise choices, and the transformative power of opportunity.
