Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State inspected the newly constructed Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle on Wednesday ahead of its official commissioning, slated to be led by President Bola Tinubu.
The massive school complex comprises 36 schools, including 16 junior and 15 senior secondary schools, as well as five primary schools, serving over 20,000 students. Built on 11.73 hectares bordering the lagoon, the facility also features extensive sporting amenities, including football fields, basketball, and volleyball courts, making it the largest school community in Africa.
During the two-hour inspection, Governor Sanwo-Olu reiterated his administration’s commitment to quality, affordable education and infrastructure development. Residents and students of Ajegunle expressed appreciation for the new educational facilities, praising the Governor for the investment in their community.
