Zenith Bank has named Kennedy Okwudili as its Executive Director, effective May 1, 2026.
The bank announced a corporate disclosure on the Nigerian Exchange Ltd.
According to Zenith Bank, the appointment strengthens its leadership team and supports its succession planning strategy.
“The appointment aligns with our tradition and succession strategy of grooming leaders from within our system,” the bank said in the statement.
Okwudili brings more than 25 years of experience across banking operations, credit and marketing, treasury, and compliance.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maiduguri in 1998.
He also holds an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University and a Master of Science in Accounting from Veritas University, Abuja.
Okwudili is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
