First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Wednesday participated in the “Fostering the Future Together Summit” hosted by Melania Trump at the White House.
The high-level gathering brought together 45 first ladies, including Brigitte Macron, to discuss ways of expanding access to educational tools and safeguarding children in digital environments.
A key highlight of the summit was the unveiling of an American-made humanoid system, Figure 3 — the first time such technology has been formally presented to international leaders in a diplomatic setting at the White House.
Speaking at the event, Melania Trump emphasised the growing role of artificial intelligence, noting that the technology is evolving beyond mobile devices into humanoid systems capable of delivering practical services. She added that AI could reshape global power dynamics, urging countries to prepare younger generations for the emerging digital landscape.
Officials from nine countries, including the United States, France, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, and Morocco, also presented national strategies for integrating technology into their education systems.
Melania called for stronger international collaboration to turn the summit’s vision into reality, stressing the importance of investing in education, expanding access to digital tools, and creating opportunities for young people worldwide.
