TikTok sensation and livestreamer, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, narrowly escaped harm after a fire broke out involving his generator in the early hours of Saturday.
The social media influencer shared news of the incident on his Instagram page, posting a video that captured the moment flames engulfed the generator. In the footage, Peller appeared visibly shaken as he repeatedly called for help while efforts were made to contain the blaze.
After sustained attempts using buckets of water, the fire was eventually put out. Although the generator was completely destroyed, the house and its occupants were unharmed.
Fans and followers flooded his comment section with messages of relief, with many attributing the outcome to swift intervention and good fortune. The video quickly spread across other social media platforms, sparking conversations around generator safety.
As of the time of this report, the exact cause of the fire has not been independently confirmed.
The incident comes months after Peller was involved in a separate scare along the Lekki–Epe Expressway during a livestream that drew widespread attention. In the broadcast, he appeared visibly distressed while driving his Mercedes-Benz. The stream, titled “RIP Peller,” alarmed viewers after he made a series of troubling remarks. Moments later, he crashed the vehicle into a roadside object. He survived the incident.
