The Lagos State government on Thursday began the demolition of Makoko, the slum built in water overlooking the third mainland bridge.
The slum which stretches from Oworonshoki through Bariga waterfronts to Ebute Meta is hike to thousands of indigenous people and itinerant fishermen.
